REQUIREMENTS FOR STUDENTS
you are at least 16 y.o.
you have valid drivers medical certificate
TRAINING
Theoretical lessons are held in 9 subjects and last 67 hours in 3-4 months 2 times a week
Flying lessons with flight instructor are held parallel with theory studies
The lenghts of the training program is individual, but on average it is 5-6 months
TIME AND PLACE
Theoretical lessons are held on EVAD airfield in equiped classroom
Flights are carried out on one of the school's training aircrafts
Training includes minimum of 20 flight hours - 10 hours of dual flights together with flight instructor and 8 solo flights with supervision from ground
PAYMENT
Prior to training start you pay at least 50% of full program cost, the rest is paid when 10 hours of flight time are reached or after first solo flight. Also there is an option of leasing
Training cost includes theoretical lessons, 20 hours of flight lessons, school exams, school textbook and handouts
Pilot training - theoretical and practical - takes place on Adazi airfield (EVAD), which is certified airfield. It is equipped with all necessary for pilot training - runway, aviation hangars, classes for theoretical lessons, Wi-Fi, mobile and radio communication, as well as with collecting and checking flight information points. For nonresident students there is a possibility of renting a room on airfield territory.
Classes at school are held by professional pilots with many years of experience in aviation. The duration of training for new pilots is from 5 to 6 months.
For the students convenience lessons take place 2 times per week - taking into account past experience such a schedule is the most optimal way for people to combine studies with work.
Students get theoretical knowledge in 2.5-3 months or 67 hours, and flying lessons take 30 hours. these 20 hours include 10 dual hours with flight instructor and 8 solo flight hours with supervision from the ground. Pilot school First Fly provides individual approach for each student. For example, if student cannot be present at school on theoretical lessons due to personal reasons, he or she can attend it via Skype.
Training is also possible if student stays in Latvia for couple of weeks per month only, then training is planned in the way for student to be able to master school program despite circumstances.
We will inform you about all training conditions, lessons schedule, about all training subjects. You will fill school form, and we will show you how and where theoretical and practical lessons are held. Classes start two times per year - in spring and fall.

THEORETICAL LESSONS AT SCHOOL - IN GROUP
First step - theoretical lessons, consists of 9 subjects - aerodynamics, navigation, meteorology and 6 more. Training is full-time and is held in equipped class on Adazi airfield. Lessons schedule is 2-3 times per week, weekdays are defined with each group of students individually.

YOUR FIRST FLIGHT - PRACTICAL FLIGHT LESSONS WITH INSTRUCTOR
Flights with instructor start in parallel with theory, in the process flight instructor will teach you everything you need to know, each necessary maneuver, including emergency situations recovery technics and cross-country flights. And here you will perform your first unforgettable solo flight!
4.
SCHOOL EXAMS AND STATE EXAMS
Your final step - is practical exam with your flight instructor at school and theoretical and practical exams in CAA. After that you will enjoy endless, incomparable pleasure from flying, which you can get whenever you want!
